Justin Featherstone MC
A keen mountaineer and whitewater kayaker, Justin has led and participated in over twenty overseas expeditions to the mountains, rivers and rainforests of the world. He served eighteen years as an Army Officer reaching the rank of Major; for most of this time he was with The Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment and was awarded the Military Cross for his gallantry and leadership in Iraq in 2004.
At different times he has instructed both Army and Navy trainee officers, and his last post, before leaving the Army, was the principal leadership staff officer at Sandhurst. He is a keen stills photographer and naturalist, a member of the Alpine Club, an Accredited Practitioner of the Institute for Outdoor Learning and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society since 2002.
Justin is now a freelance leadership consultant and expedition leader; and an Affiliate of the 'Centre for Leadership Studies', Exeter University Business School.
Neil Champion
Neil is a qualified mountaineering and rockclimbing instructor who has climbed extensively - in the UK, Continental Europe, the Himalayas and North America. He leads expeditions and teaches rockclimbing at Oxford Brookes University and works in publishing as a freelance editor. He is also the author of a number of books. Neil lives in Oxford.
Claudia Filsinger
Claudia has many years experience in facilitating and leading groups and has an MA in Coaching and Mentoring Practice and a Certificate in Training Practice (Chartered Institute of Personnel Development, UK). She has worked with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures and ages in a variety of roles in the voluntary and corporate environment.
After starting her career in sales in the media & IT Industries she held a European Learning & Development role at a global IT Corporation. She is now an independent Learning & Development consultant and teaches part-time at the Oxford Brookes University Business School where she is an Associate of the Centre for Diversity Policy Research and Practice.
Originally from Germany, Claudia lives now in Oxford.
